Graduate Dog: This dog caught my eye as soon as he netered the ring. He has what I consider to be a totally balanced outline with a good length of leg in equal proportion to his length of back. Melting head and expression, straight forelimbs under a balanced forehand with good length of shoulder blade and angulated upper arm. Elbows set under the point of the shoulders, deep through the chest. Balanced hind quarters and straight hocks he moved effortlessly around the ring. I was happy to award him the Res. CC and feel sure that the big green card will not be too far away.

Aptly named since he measures up very favourably to the Standard, quality mid gold of good size, attractive masculine head, soft expression, very good pigment, straight well boned forelegs, strong neck of good length, well laid shoulder, equal length of blade and upper arm, well developed forechest, good ribbing and body. strong loin, well constructed hindquarters, moved with style, reach and drive, future contender for top honours. BIS.

Judges critique:
Took my eye on entering the ring and once I had handled him, I found even more to like. He is the epitome of balance, a sound honest dog with no exagerration. Has a lovely head and expression with lovely eyes. Reachy neck, good shoulders and correct upperarm. Well boned, deep ribs and a super topline. Good stifles and hocks. In hard condition. Moved so very well. CC, Best Of Breed and shortlisted in the Gundog Group. Judge: Lyn Anderson (Linchael).

Dog Judge: Mrs Sue Pounds-Longhurst
BEST OF BREED, Dog CC
Judges critique:
I sung his praises two years ago when I gave him four classes, was thrilled to find what a lovely dog he has matured into, super bloom, filled my eye totally with his handsome masculine head, superb conformation, symmetrical balance held on the move, has terrific movement and carriage, felt he could go all day, so I held out for him over my co-judge's lovely quality bitch, who seemed to be feeling the heat at the end of a very hot day, well presented and handled. CC his crown and BOB on the referees decision.
This gave Teddie his title.
3 September 2006
CITY OF BIRMINGHAM CANINE ASSOCIATION CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW
Dog Judge: Mrs Margaret Woods
Dog CC and BEST OF BREED
Judges critique:
He is poetry in motion, his free flowing movement and effortless ground covering stride is the quality that puts him a cut above the rest, coupled with this his soundness, conformation and ring presence makes him a champion among champions, every bit of him epitomises masculinity, from his balanced head, his deep, powerful body and strong muscular hindquarters. CC & BOB!
